X is limiting requests

For: Readers and Confluence admins.

For a short time, X lets fewer requests through the site’s API key. This does not mean credits have run out.

What you may see

“X is limiting requests”. The editor and reader may see different wording.

What to do

Wait before you try again. If the app shows a retry time, wait until then.
Do not keep refreshing or retrying.
If it keeps happening, ask an admin to check X usage. They can check how long to keep saved posts.

Check the result

When you have waited, preview the timeline or choose Try again if shown. Check that posts load. The app may not know when you can retry. Read Usage costs before you shorten the cache time.
