For: Page editors.
Show the latest posts from an X profile on your page. Readers can keep up with a partner next to your notes.
Live example
The Atlassian profile, live on this page
This timeline shows the latest posts from the Atlassian profile on X. It shows 5 posts in the center of the page.
Try it: click a post. It opens on X in a new tab, where you can reply or repost from your own account.
On a partner page, add a short note about the account and place its timeline below it. Readers can keep up with the partner without leaving the page.
Before you start
-
You can edit this page.
-
You have a public profile URL or @username.
-
Ask your admin to connect the X API key with the access and credits needed for timelines.
With the key, posts refresh at the times your admin sets. Without the key, the app may try X’s public embed. It can show few posts or none.
Add it to a page
-
Open the page’s insert menu. Choose Embedded Timeline.
-
Enter a profile URL or @username in Item to share.
-
Choose your settings and check the preview.
-
Choose Insert.
-
On a regular page, publish or update it. Others can then see what you added.
To change it later, open its editor.
